GEARS IN MOTION...

Its been over two years that Coppo and I have been engaged... and we are finally getting the wedding plans underway!! I know I know... I pride myself on my organization skills... however my ability to focus on one thing at a time is still being worked on haha.. ANYWHO.. I scheduled an appointment with a travel agent to help me organize and plan having those lucky people join us in Jamaica for OUR WEDDING!!

September is just around the Corner... Please let us know if you would like to be one of those people shouting "Lord Have Mercy" when they pronounce us "Husband and Wife"

Weekend at Sunday River - One Hit Wonder!

Jeremy East and I set sail to northern New England on Friday to enjoy the lovely riding conditions that Sunday River has to offer and to DJ for the Red Bull "One Hit Wonder" series. 

I will just briefly tell you that the weekend was very relaxing and a lot of fun. On Saturday night we learned that underaged girls are in fact being influenced by such role models as Britney Spears.  It seems they have absolutely no problem just asking random people to purchase booze for them. Apparently from what they explained, they also don't mind taking rides in the middle of the night with strange kids that look like they are in the Trench Coat Mafia. I couldn't help but notice that I was deeply upset at the way they handled themselves and kept thinking about my younger sister and sister-in-law. So I explained to them they should be safer and just find a street bumm like we use to do as children. LOL

Anyways, moving along. We crashed Saturday night, got up early on Sunday to find perfect riding conditions all day long. I was having an amazing time up until some showoff (refer to Jackass below) decided he wanted to bring me up to the top of a "double black diamond". Now I certainly will not claim to be some sort of super great snowboarder. Shit, I live in Boston. I am lucky to get out of the city 5 times a season. Anyways, I told the kid to screw and we would meet him down the bottom after we took our more comfortable blue squares and green circle trails. 

That is all for now. I have a shitload of work to do. Next trip, February 23rd at Waterville. Get your shit together! Mad love to Matt F and Jeremy East. Also, I must say it was seriously a delight meeting Mary and her man. We all had the pleasure of getting dinner together and the girl has some amazing energy. I honestly never knew anyone could touch my skillz in the energy department but she certainly knows how to throw down. I had an amazing time riding and hanging with you guys!

it was like old times

This weekend was FUN.. It was like Old Times... awwwww Total Girls Weekend!! Started with a 2 a.m. nightcap when Jessie came over late Friday Night... several hours after Jay jumped in Jeremy's car and headed to Sunday River for another Red Bull Snowboard Event!

Saturday morning silly shopping excursion... Found a party dress in the first store I stepped in!!
The whole afternoon went surprisingly smooth... well... except for the fact that Jessie burnt her face with the curling iron... I swear not a day goes by when one of us doesn't hurt ourselves...

Jessie was my date to my company holiday party! Where everyone thought Jessie was my little sister! I think most of the night the two of us sat wide eyed watching the adult debauchery... there is nothing more amusing than seeing coworkers wasted with their spouses...

HOLY JEEZ...
I oddly enough went easy on the booze while we were rubbing elbows with my bosses... I really didn't want to come here on Monday and have to hide all day... hahaha After the yacht docked we were definitely ready to be around our own crazies... We bounced to the Ever Fun Good Life... for Fresh Produce... Chatted Up The Regulars... Downed Several Vodka Tonics ... Popped a Few Vortex Vitamins... I think i did the Running Man Once Again for a Few Minutes at Least... By bar close my Ass was curled up on the heated passenger seats ready for lala land... Which I would like to Add... AN ENORMOUS THANK YOU TO THE PERSON TO CREATED HEATED SEATS... WOW...

Sunday Morning... I made the usual eggs and toast breakfast as we dished over the weekend... I have to say the weekend was fun... it reminded me of several years ago... awwwwwwwwww I love you Jessie... but I have to say I'm so happy to have my baby home...

The Dirty Thirty! I am ready to be old now!

The Goodlife was out of control on Wednesday for my 30th birthday. I am really a lucky guy and I want to thank everyone who was able to attend. I had such a great time! Jade's decorating skills were once again, top notch. Thank you to Jody aka Mechabot 1, Butterface, Kares and Endo for keeping the room filled with proper funky beats all night! I got a helmet and blow up doll!

We were all simply amazed when we glanced over at the drunken troll .. Trying to hide our amused amiles... we quickly looked back at Melee...

Purely Fascinated I was ... Still in the day and age someone still thinks it's ok to make requests hahahaha

SUNDAY MORNING... OUCH

Sunday morning.... there was really only one word to describe sunday morning. PAIN! As I slowly opened my eyes and lifted my head...The weight of my pounding brain forced my head down back on my pillow...I layed there for another 45 minutes secretly wishing that advil could simply appear in my hand... shear PAIN. After tossing and turning and the inability to ignore the fact that i really had to pee...I forced myself to the bathroom...I filled the sink with cold water and submerged my face with hopes it would have numbed my brain... no such luck...As i stood there dunking my face in water i was slowly recalling the events from saturday night...

OHHHHH Saturday Night! Well those of you that were not there you obviously missed a good night...especially with the deadly factors that were included...

Juno aka The Coppo Kitty!

Juno is the new cat that we adopted right before Christmas. He really is an amazingly well behaved cat and we certainly adore him. He apparently was brought up to the Northeast from New Orleans due to the aftermath from Katrina, etc. I won't lie, I did find myself at one point questioning why when everyone else was spoiling themselves with new technology such as Wii and Iphones, we ended up with a kitten that had the shits. Oh well, regardless he is home and will without a doubt do something that will cause him to be strangled. j.k. we love the little shithead!

New Years Eve - 2008 ----->

Wow! New Years Eve this year was filled with some excitement! We started off at The Middle East for THROWED where myself, Michael Savant and Emarce threw down for a few hours. You can check out more of Michael's pics for the night HERE. I had a really good time! Thanks to Michael and Eric for inviting me to play. So shortly after midnight Jade and I proceeded to the subway in route to see friends downtown at a factory loft party. Strictly special ops type shit. Stuck around there until 2am or so and headed to the next gig at RISE. I believe this was my forth New Years playing for Tom and Darrin at Rise and seriously. It's a hot spot in the city and always good times. I personally just wish there wasn't so many mirrors in the main room. LOL. Mirrors combined with lights in a room with shorter ceilings for some reason gives me anxiety. What can ya do! I told myself in the past that I was going to stay away from getting myself double booked for events, but it was New Years! New Years should be about missions and jumping from one crowd to the next to get a little bit of everyones excitement ya know..... over&out.

Union Square Qualifier - Sunday River - December 22nd

Headed North to Sunday River to play some beats for the crazy kats at the Qualifier and do some riding in Maine. You ask "Coppo was it cold?", HELL YES IT WAS COLD! However, you can't beat the excitement of being a part of such a cool event, and of course meeting up with friends that reside in different parts of the East Coast. FYI: Drinking and riding fresh powder with friends is unbeatably refreshing and relaxing! Big ups to Seth, Matt, Nelson, Ben, Brad, Pat and of course, Regis!
